SP Dolphin inquires about injured cop

ISLAMABAD: SP Dolphin Khalid Awan visited hospital to see a police officer who was undergoing treatment. During the visit, SP Dolphin inquired about his health and treatment progress.
He also met with the doctors and received a briefing on the officer’s current health status. On this occasion, he also instructed the concerned police officers to ensure the injured officer receives the best medical care.
He said that, these officers remain ever-ready to protect the lives and property of citizens without concern for their own safety. He further added that all police officers are part of a family and will be cared for in every possible way.

SP HQs inspects police vehicles at MT

ISLAMABAD: SP Headquarters Syed Sajjad Haider Bukhari conducted an inspection of Islamabad Police vehicles at Police Lines Headquarters. On the occasion, he was accompanied by other police officers.
During the visit of the MT section, SP Headquarters examined the overhauling and maintenance of the vehicles along with the inspection. He issued directives to all officers to ensure the vehicles remain in good condition.
On the occasion, he stated that these vehicles play an important role in providing immediate assistance to citizens and in maintaining law and order. Their optimal condition and upkeep is our top responsibility.

Cop bid warm farewell

ISLAMABAD: A farewell ceremony was organized at Police Lines Headquarters to honor the police officers retiring from the MT section of Islamabad Police.
SP Headquarters Syed Sajjad Haider Bukhari attended the ceremony as the chief guest. On this occasion, DSP Headquarters and other senior police officers were also present. On the occasion, SP Headquarters appreciated the services rendered by the retiring police officers and said that retirement is a part of service, whoever starts the job will eventually retire.
He added, you have served in the police department for a long time. During service, all of us should strive to perform such deeds that make our name respected and our character remembered positively. He emphasized the need to commit to public service and seek Allah’s pleasure through sincere work. You have spent a valuable part of your life serving in the police force and the department has, in return, given you respect, honor and a dignified position, for which you should be thankful to Allah, he added.
He further stated that if any personal or official matter arises, the door to his office is always open. The retiring police personnel expressed their gratitude for the honor shown to them and thanked SP Headquarters. At the end of the ceremony, the chief guest presented honorary police shields to the retirees and expressed his best wishes for their future.

CTO commends officials for effective performance during rain

ISLAMABAD: Fowllowing the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the ITP is actively working to ensure smooth traffic flow in the federal capital while also providing guidance and assistance to citizens.
In this regard, CTO Islamabad, Capt. (retd) Hamzah Humayun, commended the traffic police officers and personnel who performed their duties diligently during heavy rain. He also awarded them with certificates of appreciation and cash prizes.
On the occasion, CTO Islamabad stated that the dedication and hard work of the officers and personnel to maintain smooth traffic flow during rainfall for the convenience of the public is truly commendable.
He added that these officers are driven by a spirit of service and are committed to their duties in all weather conditions. He further said that special measures are being taken to make Islamabad safer from traffic accidents and to ensure uninterrupted traffic flow.
Enforcing traffic laws is essential to reducing accidents. CTO Islamabad instructed all officers to ensure coordination with their subordinate staff and to take strict legal action against those who violate traffic laws. He added that to raise awareness about traffic rules and road safety, the awareness teams of ITP are regularly present at various intersections and roads to educate the public.
Additionally, Islamabad Traffic Police is also providing updates on road safety and traffic regulations, as well as real-time traffic conditions in the capital, through FM Radio 92.4.
