ISLAMABAD: On the occasion of Pakistan Defence Day, Superintendent of Police (SP) Soan Zone Muhammad Khurram Ashraf visited the shrine of Shaheed Lance Naik Muhammad Mahfuz, a recipient of the Nishan-e-Haider, Pakistan’s highest military award for gallantry.
During the visit, SP Soan Zone laid a floral wreath at the martyr’s shrine, offered Fateha, and presented a salute in honour of his supreme sacrifice. On the occasion, he paid tribute to all the martyrs and veterans who rendered sacrifices for the defence and security of the motherland and saluted their unforgettable services and sacrifices.
SP Soan Zone Muhammad Khurram Ashraf said that the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the defence of the country are the true heroes of the nation. Their great sacrifices are a lasting source of determination, courage, bravery, and patriotism for the entire nation. He further said that the sacrifices of the martyrs will always be remembered, and it is the collective responsibility of all of us to carry forward their spirit of patriotism, dedication, and commitment to future generations.
Islamabad Police pays tribute to all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the defence of the motherland, the maintenance of peace and security, and the protection of citizens, and salutes their supreme sacrifices.
