ISLAMABAD: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Investigations, Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt held a meeting regarding ongoing investigations into serious crimes. Investigating officers from across the district participated in the meeting.
The SSP Investigations reviewed the progress of robbery and other serious crime cases under investigation. While issuing directions to the officers, he emphasized that pending cases should be concluded on merit and challans should be submitted to relevant courts with solid evidence, ensuring maximum convictions of criminals through the courts.
He further directed that the arrest of absconding members of criminal gangs must also be ensured. He stressed that maximum arrests of proclaimed offenders should be carried out. The protection of life and property of citizens is our top priority, and no negligence in this regard will be tolerated, he added.
