SSP Ops chairs meeting on crime control

ISLAMABAD: SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, chaired an important meeting regarding crime prevention and security measures in the federal capital.
The meeting was attended by zonal SPs, SDPOs, and SHOs. During the meeting, the performance of all officers was reviewed in detail, and those showing unsatisfactory performance were reprimanded.
SSP Operations directed all officers to adopt effective strategies for crime prevention and ensure strict and indiscriminate action against proclaimed offenders, car and motorcycle thieves, active criminal gangs, drug peddlers, and illegal weapon holders.
He also ordered effective action against land grabbers and individuals involved in the display of weapons. Emphasizing visible policing, he instructed that all patrolling units must remain active in the field, and SHOs should further strengthen night patrolling to make it more purposeful and effective. SSP Qazi Ali Raza directed officers to ensure the presence of all police vehicles in the field and emphasized the importance of community policing. He instructed all officers to address public grievances promptly and ensure maximum facilitation to citizens.
He also stated that good performance would be rewarded, while negligence in duties would lead to strict departmental action.
He urged all officers to perform their duties with dedication, sincerity, and a sense of responsibility, terming public service as a noble duty. He reiterated that the protection of life and property of citizens remains the top priority of Islamabad Police.
