SSP Ops directs for probe of heinous crimes

ISLAMABAD: SSP Operations Islamabad Muhammad Shoaib Khan chaired a meeting regarding ongoing investigations of heinous and other crimes. The meeting was attended by SDPOs, during which the performance of all officers was reviewed, and necessary directives were issued.

During the meeting, he directed officers to take strict legal action against those involved in heinous crimes and ensure that all absconders are apprehended at the earliest.
He emphasized that ongoing investigations should be concluded on merit and that challan should be submitted to the courts with solid evidence to ensure maximum convictions.
Furthermore, he directed officers to intensify efforts to arrest absconders of criminal gangs and increase the number of arrests of proclaimed offenders.
He stated that violence and abuse against women and children are intolerable, and all legal procedures should be followed to ensure exemplary punishment for those involved in such crimes.
The protection of citizens’ lives and property is our top priority, and no negligence in this regard will be tolerated,” he added.
