ISLAMABAD: An important meeting of officers from the Rural, Soan and Industrial Area zone was held under the chairmanship of SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza. The meeting reviewed important matters related to crime prevention and ensuring security in markets.
The meeting was attended by SPs, SDPOs, and SHOs of the Rural, Soan and Industrial Area zones. During the session, the SSP Operations issued instructions to the officers regarding their professional duties and public service. He emphasized that an effective strategy should be adopted to maintain law and order and to prevent crime. He directed that strict and indiscriminate action be taken against active criminal gangs, drug dealers, and individuals possessing illegal weapons.
He further stated that during the last 10 days of Ramadan, in view of increased Eid shopping, effective security arrangements should be ensured in markets and commercial centers. All police vehicles must remain present in the field, and the patrolling system should be further strengthened and made more effective.
SSP Operations also directed all officers to ensure their presence in markets and commercial areas so that citizens can enjoy a safe and peaceful environment for Eid shopping.
