ISLAMABAD: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad Muhammad Shoaib Khan presided over an important meeting with the officers of City and Saddar zones to review the crime situation and operational strategies.
The meeting was attended by the SHOs of both zones.
During the meeting, SSP Operations issued clear directives to the officers stressing the need to tighten the noose around criminal gangs and ensure the arrest of their absconding members.
He instructed that the data of accused involved in property-related crimes should be compiled and their arrests must be carried out without delay.
He further directed that all under investigation cases must be concluded on merit and challans should be submitted to the competent courts at the earliest.
Officers were also told to keep strict surveillance on previously released accused involved in property crimes and to re-arrest them immediately if they commit any new offenses.
SSP Shoaib Khan emphasized the importance of apprehending those involved in vehicle and motorcycle theft cases and directed for maximum arrests of proclaimed offenders.
Protecting the lives and property of citizens is our top priority and no negligence in this regard will be tolerated, he added.
