ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Ali Rizvi, SSP Operations Muhammad Shoaib Khan held an open court at his office.
On the occasion, SSP Operations listened to the complaints and issues of the public as well as police officials. Senior police officers were also present on this occasion.
During the open court, he addressed the complaints of the citizens and marked their applications to the concerned officers for timely action on merit. He also directed them to send reports to his office within the given time frame.
He further stated that strict action would be taken against officials involved in bribery or corruption, and a zero-tolerance policy would be adopted in this regard.
He emphasized that Islamabad Police would leave no stone unturned in securing the lives and property of citizens. Such interactions will continue in the future to provide maximum relief to the citizens, he added.
He also mentioned that interactions during open court would help promote friendly policing, ensure self-accountability and lead to the immediate resolution of citizens problem. The protection of life, property, and the self-respect of citizens comes first.
Earlier, On the special instructions of Inspector General of Police (IGP), SSP Operations Muhammad Shoaib Khan organized an Khuli Kachehri (open court) at Nilore Police Station in the Rural Zone.
The open court was attended by SP Rural Zone, DSPs, SHOs, and a large number of citizens. Complaints and issues raised by the public were heard attentively, and immediate directions were issued for their resolution. SSP Shoaib said that the crackdown against drug peddlers and those involved in possession of illegal weapons would continue without any interruption.
