ISLAMABAD: SSP Operations Islamabad Muhammad Shoaib Khan presided over a crime meeting with officers from the Saddar and Industrial Area zones. The meeting was attended by the Station House Officers (SHOs) from both zones.
During the meeting, SSP Operations Islamabad issued directives to the officers, emphasizing the strict monitoring of proclaimed offenders, enhancing the purpose and effectiveness of patrolling, and ensuring the arrest and recovery of stolen valuables in cases of robbery, theft, and vehicle lifting. He urged the use of all available resources to eliminate criminal elements and called for a crackdown on individuals involved in heinous offenses.
SSP Operations Islamabad further stated that all officers should take action, without discrimination, against land grabbers, drug dealers, and those in possession of illegal weapons.
He emphasized that strict legal action should be taken against those involved in serious crimes and that such criminals must be brought to justice.
He also stressed that remaining wanted criminals should be arrested promptly, and investigations should be concluded on merit and with transparency. The arrested criminals should be prosecuted based on solid evidence to ensure they receive appropriate punishment according to the law, he added.
He directed the SHOs to ensure the prompt resolution of citizens’ complaints at the police station level and to prioritize solving their issues.
Any complaints of corruption, misconduct, or abuse of power will be investigated, and the misuse of authority will not be tolerated.
All officers must maintain exemplary discipline. The protection of citizens’ lives and property is the primary responsibility, and any negligence in this regard will not be tolerated.
