ISLAMABAD: SSP Operations Islamabad Muhammad Shoaib Khan held a high-level meeting on the crime situation in Islamabad. The meeting was attended by SHOs of the police stations. The meeting reviewed the overall security situation and measures to prevent crime.
During the meeting, the SSP Islamabad issued directives to the officers, instructing them to carry out an immediate and effective crackdown against unregistered motorcycles and vehicles to prevent their use in criminal activities.
He emphasized ensuring the arrest of criminal elements and enhancing the effectiveness and purposefulness of patrolling, directing that all patrolling units should remain active in the field at all times.
He further said that, all available resources should be utilized to ensure the safety of citizens’ lives and property. He further instructed that any negligence or carelessness in the discharge of duties will not be tolerated under any circumstances. The protection of citizens’ lives and property is the top priority. Islamabad Police is committed to maintaining peace and order in the city, upholding the rule of law, and restoring public trust, SSP said.
