ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have intensified security measures across the federal capital in line with the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, to ensure foolproof security and protect citizens’ lives and property.
According to details, SSP Operations, Qazi Ali Raza, conducted detailed visits to various duty points and police checkpoints to review the overall law-and-order situation. During the visit, he met police officers and officials deployed on duty and assessed the effectiveness of the ongoing checking processes.
SSP Operations directed the concerned officers to make the checking mechanism more effective and purposeful, ensuring enhanced protection of citizens. He instructed officers to remain fully alert, ensure strict monitoring of suspicious individuals and vehicles, and immediately report any unusual activity to senior officials.
He emphasized that officers must display courtesy and respect while dealing with the public to further strengthen the trust between citizens and the police. He added that protecting the lives and property of the people is the foremost priority of Islamabad Police, and all security measures are being implemented with this objective in mind.
He urged citizens to cooperate fully with police teams and report any suspicious persons or activities to the nearest police station or through the emergency helpline “Pucar-15.”
