SSP Ops visits Sangjani cattle market

ISLAMABAD: SSP Operations Islamabad, Muhammad Shoaib Khan, paid a visit to the Sangjani Cattle Market. He met with police officers and officials on duty and reviewed the security measures implemented for the protection of traders and buyers.
He stated that Islamabad Police officers are fulfilling their responsi-bilities to ensure the safety of citizens in the cattle markets.
He emphasized that no cattle markets will be allowed outside designated areas and instructed legal action against any illegal cattle markets or sales points. He said that patrolling teams, including the Dol-phin Squad and Police Response Unit, have been deployed in the markets to carry out crackdowns on fraudsters, pickpockets, and other criminal elements.
He further stated that all these measures aim to maintain law and order in the federal capital and en-sure the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
He also appealed to the public to cooperate with police officers and immediately report any suspicious activity or object to the concerned police station or the emergency helpline “Pucar-15”.
