ISLAMABAD: Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police has taken effective measures to ensure foolproof security in the federal capital.
In this regard, SSP Investigation Islamabad Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt and SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza visited various police pickets and duty points, where they met with police officers.
During the visits, they reviewed the checking process and directed the relevant officers to make it more effective and purposeful to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
On this occasion, SSP Investigation Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt and SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza also directed officers to remain alert at all times, ensure effective checking of suspicious individuals and vehicles, and immediately report any suspicious activities to senior officials. They further emphasized that police officers should interact with citizens in a polite and respectful manner to strengthen trust between the police and the public. They stated that the protection of citizens’ lives and property remains the top priority of Islamabad Police, and all security measures are being implemented with this objective in mind.
Citizens have been urged to fully cooperate with the police and immediately report any suspicious persons or activities to the relevant police station or through the police helpline, Pucar-15.
