STEM activity week concludes at FBISE

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) concluded its annual STEM Activities Week on Monday with a closing ceremony marked by the distribution of honorary certificates and prizes among students showed outstanding performance.
Secretary of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Nadeem Mehboob, graced the ceremony as the chief guest. In his address, he encouraged the participating students and, recalling his own school days, said that Pakistan’s future rests in the hands of talented, hardworking, and creatively thinking youth, said a press release.
He congratulated FBISE Chairman Dr Ikram Ali Malik and his team for successfully organizing the memorable STEM Activities Week, emphasizing that such academic competitions play a vital role in enhancing students’ capabilities.
During the closing ceremony, judges selected the best projects presented in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science, awarding first, second, and third positions in each category.
More than 500 students took part in various competitions, including recitation of the Holy Quran, Naat-e-Rasul-e-Maqbool (PBUH), national songs, and Urdu and English speeches, showcasing their talent with great enthusiasm.
