Strict security plan enforced across Islamabad on Eid-ul-Adha

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq, remained personally present in the field during Eid-ul-Adha. He met with police officers deployed at checkpoints and recreational spots across the city to ensure the safety of citizens. He reviewed the security arrangements and instructed all officers to treat families with courtesy and respect.
DIG Islamabad said that under the Eid security plan, every possible protective measure has been implemented throughout the city, and strict adherence to the plan is being maintained.
Due to the effective strategy of Islamabad Police, no unpleasant incident occurred in the city.
Security check-posts have been established at all entry and exit points as well as within the city. Strict actions are being taken against individuals involved in one-wheeling and hooliganism.
He further said that parks in Islamabad have been declared as family parks, and no one other than families is allowed entry.
Similarly, in Daman-e-Koh and Lake View Park, individuals other than families were strictly not permitted.
Complete protection has been provided to families in all parks of Islamabad. To ensure maximum public safety, all SSPs, SPs, SDPOs and SHOs also remained present in the field.
DIG Islamabad further added that every officer of Islamabad Police performed their duties as a team. These officers standing in the scorching heat for the safety of the public are the real heroes. The officers of Islamabad Police are present on the streets day and night to maintain peace and order.
Islamabad Police will continue to perform its duties with the same passion and dedication.
On the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, citizens also highly appreciated the security measures taken by Islamabad Police.
