Students’ delegation visits Parliament House

ISLAMABAD: A delegation comprising 65 students and faculty members from Mercy Pak High School, Peshawar, visited Parliament House as part of an educational tour.
Senior officials of the Senate welcomed the delegation upon their arrival, according to a news release.
During the visit, the delegation toured the Senate Museum, where they watched a documentary on the history of the Upper House. The students showed keen interest in the statues of prominent political figures and historical photographs displayed at the museum.
The delegation also received a detailed briefing on the working procedures of the Senate and the legislative process. Later, the students visited the Senate Hall, gaining firsthand experience of parliamentary proceedings. Expressing gratitude to the Senate officials for their warm welcome and informative session, the students termed the visit a memorable and enriching experience.
