Karachi: Multan Sultans have appointed wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan as the captain for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season six. The 28-year-old Rizwan will replace Shan Masood, who led Sultans in PSL 5. Rizwan is currently Pakistan’s first choice as wicketkeeper batter and is also the vice-captain of the National Test team.
Team owner Ali Tareen in a press release issued by the franchise said. “Mohammad Rizwan has shown exemplary leadership qualities with the Pakistan team as well as with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the Domestic tournaments.”
“He is presently one of the very best in the world in his position and we are excited to have him lead our team for the upcoming season of the PSL.
