ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police is continuously engaged in protecting the lives and property of the citizens and providing them with every facility.
In this regard, the children from the Islamabad Police Summer School camp visited Safe City Islamabad.
On the directions of DG Safe City Malik Jameel Zafar, the Director Technical and Personal Staff Officer briefed the students on Safe City Islamabad’s centralized system, Command and Control Center, advanced technology-based cameras, and their operations and advantages.
The student delegation was briefed that Safe City Islamabad is playing a vital role in various departments through modern technology, including the Police Operations and Monitoring Center, Emergency Control Center, Dispatch Control Center, E-Challan System, and the “Pukar-15” helpline, and contributing to the security of the city, crime prevention, and the protection of the lives and property of citizens.
They highlighted the functioning and benefits of Safe City facial recognition cameras, which help identify individuals on the city’s internal and external roads and play a crucial role in identifying suspicious elements.
On this occasion, the summer school students expressed their happiness during their visit to Safe City.
