ISLAMABAD: As part of World Space Week 2025 celebrations, SUPARCO’s RESOLVE initiative and the Space Research Center at the University of Central Punjab (UCP) have announced a series of “Space Camp 2025” workshops in Lahore under the theme “Design, Build and Launch Your First Satellite.”
The program is being organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Kalam4Solutions, the Pakistan Innovation Fund, and academic partners.
The workshops will be held at leading universities across Lahore, including the University of Central Punjab (UCP), University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), and Information Technology University (ITU).
The sessions will be open to students and participants from all institutions.
Using CANSAT and EYASSAT educational kits, participants will receive hands-on training covering the entire satellite mission lifecycle — from concept design and subsystem integration to launch demonstration and data analysis.
The best-performing teams will qualify for the National CANSat Competition in October 2025, which will serve as a central feature of Pakistan’s World Space Week celebrations.
The organizers said the initiative aims to nurture Pakistan’s next generation of space scientists and engineers by equipping them with the technical expertise, innovation mindset, and confidence to contribute to the country’s role in global space exploration.
