ISLAMABAD: The Homicide Unit of PS Koral busted accused allegedly involved in killing a 24 year old girl. According to details, PS Koral lodged FIR following complaint of Allah Rakha regarding murder of his daughter Sonia Bibi (24) who alleged Shahzad for involvement in the killing. Police registered the case and started interrogation into the matter.
In the light of DIG Operations’ orders, SP Rural Farooq Amjad Butter constituted a special team under the supervision of DSP Qasim Niazi including Homicide Unit’s Inspector Munir Ahmed, SHO Koral SI Malik Basher, S Naveed Tahir and others from Homicide Unit.
The team collected the evidence about the incident and managed to arrest Shahzad, involved in murdering Sonia Bibi. Further investigation is underway from the accused. DIG Operations has appreciated this performance and directed all police officials for high vigilance and monitoring against those involved in anti-social activities.
4 members of two criminals’ gangs held,

ISLAMABAD: PS Shalimar and PS Shahzad Town police teams arrested four member of two criminal’ gangs and recovered valuables as well as weapons from their possession. Following the directions of IGP Muhammad Amir Zulfqar Khan, DIG Operations has directed all zonal officers to accelerate their efforts to curb in the city.
SP Saddar Zone Muhammad Sarfraz Virk constituted special teams under the supervision of DSP Abid Ikram including SHO Inspector Arshad Ali, ASI Noman along with others to ensure the arrest of the criminals. The police team, with the help of CCTV footage and Human Resource, arrested a wanted member of street criminals’ gang identified as Sohaib Ali. Cops’ team also recovered weapons from their possession. Moreover, during initial interrogation, he confessed of being involved in several incidents in various areas of PS Shalimar, PS Margalla and PS Ramana and it’s surroundings areas along with his other accomplices. Further investigation is underway from him. A case has been registered against him and further investigation is underway.
Moreover, SP Rural Zone Farooq Amjad Butter constituted a special police team under the supervision of SDPO Shahzad Town Circle including PS Shahzad Town’s SI Tipu Sultan along with others apprehended three members of the thief gang. The accused were later identified as Muhammad Liaqat, Abdul Hameed and Raisat and recovered stolen valuables from their possession.
During initial interrogation, they confessed to be involved in several incidents in various areas of the twin cities police stations and it’s surroundings along with his other accomplices. Further investigation is underway from him. A case has been registered against him and further investigation is underway. IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan and DIG Operations have appreciated performance of the police teams and announced commendation certificates along with cash rewards for the policemen who arrested the gangsters.
