Syedaal, Qadir discuss dev’t, issues of Balochistan

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Chairman Senate Syedaal Khan met former federal minister and senior politician from Balochistan, Lieutenant General (R) Abdul Qadir Baloch, and discussed issues of Balochistan.
During the meeting, both leaders held a detailed discussion on the overall political, social, and economic situation in Balochistan, along with various issues and development prospects concerning the province.
The meeting emphasized the need for sustainable development in Balochistan, improvement of infrastructure, and strengthening of education, healthcare, and public welfare initiatives. Matters related to creating employment opportunities for the youth, promoting vocational training, and enabling young people to play an active role in national development were also discussed.
Syedaal Khan stated that Balochistan holds fundamental importance in Pakistan’s development and prosperity, adding that the province’s natural resources, strategic geographic location, and talented youth are valuable national assets.
He emphasized that addressing the deprivations faced by the people of Balochistan, ensuring the provision of essential services, and timely completion of development projects should remain among the state’s key priorities.
He further stressed that local communities should benefit more substantially from the province’s resources and said accelerating development efforts would significantly improve the quality of life of the people.
He added that sustainable peace, social harmony, and economic stability require collective efforts from all stakeholders. Lieutenant General (R) Abdul Qadir Baloch shared his views on the challenges faced by the people of Balochistan, the prevailing political situation, socio-economic concerns, and ongoing development initiatives in the province.
He underscored the importance of promoting public welfare, youth engagement, employment opportunities, and development-oriented measures.
Both sides agreed on the need for collective efforts to advance Balochistan’s development, public welfare, and national cohesion.
