ISLAMABAD: Chinese Embassy in Pakistan and the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan co-organized a symposium themed “Jointly Build the China-Pakistan Community with a Shared Future” here in Islamabad, celebrating the 10th anniversary of President Xi Jinping’s historic visit to Pakistan.
His Excellency Ambassador Jiang Zaidong, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan and Her Excellency Amna Baloch, Foreign Secretary of Pakistan attended the symposium and delivered keynote speeches.
Participants also included dignitaries, representatives and friends from Pakistan’s political parties, think tanks and media.
Ambassador Jiang Zaidong and Pakistani representatives highly praised the historic significance of the visit and gave a systematic retrospect of the achievements in China-Pakistan all-weather strategic cooperation during the past decade.
All participants agreed that both sides should carry forward the valuable experience drawn from the historic visit and the achievements of the past decade to accelerate the building of an even closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era. –PR
