Karachi: Confident Tabish Khan has set high hopes from selectors as he awaits his first chance to play for the Pakistan cricket team in home series against South Africa.
The 36-year-old took to Twitter and highlighted that he was once again amongst the top wicket-takers in the recently concluded Quaid-e-Azam Trophy (QeA).
“Alhamdulilah by taking 30 wickets this season I’m still in the top charts of QET 2020,” wrote Tabish
“My hopes are very high for the home series against @OfficialCSA (South Africa), hope I get a chance to serve my country and make my family proud,” he added.
It must be noted that Tabish is yet to receive maiden call-up for the national team. He has taken 598 wickets in first-class cricket with 38 fifers.
