ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops, in a bid to tighten noose around anti-social elements, busted 10 culprits from various parts of the city and recovered narcotics, valuables and weapons from them.
According to details, following directions of IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan, DIG Operations Waqar-Ud-Din Syed issued directives to all zonal officers for renewed efforts against those involved in anti-social activities.
Thus, owing to these efforts, PS Shalimar arrested a drug pusher namely Tahir and recovered 300 gram hashish from him. PS Shahzad Town nabbed a PO namely Tariq. PS Golra held 3 professional alm seekers namely Amjad, Nadeem and Saleem.
Similarly, PS Karachi Company apprehended two accused namely Tasawer Hussain and Tahir and recovered stolen valuables from their possession. PS Koral apprehended two accused Khan Afsar and Akhtar involved in illicit oil selling. PS Lohibher caught accused Hassam Zafar and recovered one 9mm pistol from him.
Separate cases have been registered against the accused while further Investigation is underway from them. DIG Operations Islamabad Waqar-ud-Din Syed has appreciated this overall performance while directing the cops to intensify the efforts against anti-social elements at large.
