Thief busted, stolen valuables recovered

ISLAMABAD: PS Shams Colony police team apprehended a wanted member of a thief gang involved in theft incidents and recovered stolen valuables from his possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police had started a crackdown against criminal elements involved in theft activities in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
Following these directives, the Shams Colony police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a thief gang involved in theft incidents. Police team also recovered stolen valuables from his possession. The accused was identified as Abrar Hussain. Case has already been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During the preliminary investigation the accused confessed his involvement in theft incidents in the jurisdiction of the Shams Colony police station.

13 booked, drugs and weapons recovered

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops apprehended 13 outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Kohsar police team arrested a lady accused namely Kanwal Ishaq and recovered 381 gram heroin from her possession. Likewise, the Ramna police team arrested an accused namely Nasir Khan and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession,
Similarly, the Tarnol police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Tufail and recovered 2100 gram heroin from his possession. The Golra police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Babar and recovered 1619 gram heroin from his possession. Moreover, the Sabzi Mandi police team arrested an accused namely Mudassir and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession. The Shams Colony police team arrested two accused namely Muhammad Farooq and Hayat Kan and recovered two 30 bore pistols with ammunition from his possession. The Khanna police team arrested four accused namely Asif Pervez, Zain Razaq, Ahmed Hassan and Saud and recovered 60 liters liquor and 30 bore pistol with ammunition from their possession.
Furthermore, the Koral police team arrested an accused namely Dost Muhammad involved in illegal gas filling. Kirpa police team arrested an accused namely Mati Ullah and recovered one 12 bore gun from his possession. Sihala police arrested an accused namely Muhammad Ali and recovered one 9mm pistol along with ammunition from his possession. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.

Wanted bike lifter caught, 3 stolen bikes recovered

ISLAMABAD: PS Margalla police team apprehended a wanted member of a bike lifter gang involved in numerous bike lifting incidents and recovered 03 stolen motorbikes from his possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police had started a crackdown against criminal elements involved in car and bike lifting incidents in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens. Following these directives, the Margalla police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a bike lifter gang involved in numerous bike lifting incidents.
Police team also recovered 03 stolen motorbikes from his possession. The accused was identified as Danish Javed. Cases have already been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During the preliminary investigation the accused confessed to being involved in numerous bike lifting incidents.

Search & Combing Operation initiated at various areas

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted a search and combing operation in the jurisdiction of Ramna, Shams Colony and Sangjani police stations.
Following the special directives to IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the search and combing operations are being conducted in different areas of the city, to ensure the safety and security of the Islamabad citizens.
Following these orders, a search and combing operation was conducted in different areas of Ramna, Shams Colony and Sangjani police stations by CTD and quick response team under the supervision of DSP Operations CTD. During the search and combing operation one suspicious individual was shifted to the police station for verification purpose, while 40 houses, 75 suspects, 20 Motorcycles and 05 cars were checked during the search and combing operation.
IGP Islamabad said that, the purpose of the search and combing operations was to heighten the security in the federal capital. All zonal officers were directed to continue these operations in their respective areas. Citizens are also requested to cooperate with police during the checking.
