ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police Shalimar police station and Homicide Unit police teams have arrested 03 accused involved in murder case.
According to details, on June 16, 2024, the Shalimar police station received an application from a citizen who stated that he is a resident of Bhara Kahu and that accused Khalida Bibi, Atif Shah, Zohaib Abrar, Nasir, Bobi and Farhan killed his nephew namely Waqar Abbasi on old enmity
Upon receiving the application, the Shalimar police team registered an FIR no. 559/24. Following this incident, a special investigation team was constituted.
The police teams utilized all available resources and used technical and scientific methods to arrest the accused, namely Yasir Kamal, Tahir Hussain and Oman Khan.
During the preliminary investigation, the arrested accused confessed the killing of the deceased on old enmity. Police team also recovered the vehicle and bike used in the crime, while further investigation is underway.
