ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police Aabpara Police have safely recovered an 8-month-old baby girl within a very short period after she was reported abducted from outside a government hospital, demonstrating a swift and effective police response.
Upon receiving information about the abduction, SP City Zone Dr. Ayaz Hussain immediately took notice of the incident and directed the formation of a special police team under the supervision of the SHO Aabpara. Given the sensitivity of the case, the team launched an immediate operation and mobilized all available resources to locate and safely recover the child.
Through the effective use of modern technological tools, human intelligence and professional policing expertise, the police team successfully traced the accused and recovered the baby girl safely within a very short time.
Three accused, including two women allegedly involved in the abduction, have been arrested. Further investigation is underway to determine the complete circumstances and all aspects of the incident. Police said that legal proceedings against the suspects would be carried out in accordance with the law, with all necessary legal requirements fulfilled to ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.
The child’s parents expressed relief and gratitude following her safe recovery, praising Islamabad Police for its prompt, effective and professional response. SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza commended Aabpara Police for their timely action and reiterated Islamabad Police’s zero-tolerance policy towards crimes against women and children.
“Protecting the lives and property of citizens, particularly women and children, is a top priority of Islamabad Police,” he said, adding that all available resources are being utilized to provide citizens with a safe and secure environment. He further stated that effective and indiscriminate action would continue against individuals involved in crimes targeting women and children.
SSP Operations Islamabad said that the rapid recovery of the infant and arrest of the suspects reflect the commitment of Islamabad Police to timely response, effective teamwork, modern technology and professional policing. He reaffirmed that Islamabad Police will continue to safeguard the lives and property of citizens, with particular emphasis on protecting women and children through swift, professional and effective law-enforcement measures.
