Time for strong stance against existing govt: Bilawal

KARACHI: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari took a strong stand and said that giving more time to the current government would be equivalent to playing with the integrity of this country.
Addressing a rally in Karachi on the 12th martyrdom anniversary of October 18 Karsaz massacre, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the journey of PPP began with ShaheedZulfiqar Ali Bhutto. “People’s Party has seen grief whereas also happiness”, he added.
“The harsh memories of the tragedy survive till date”, he expressed adding that no one can forget those who sacrificed their lives fighting dictators and terrorists bravely.
He continued saying that the year 2007 was a dark year for the country and its people. “On one side of it was a dictator and on the other was the reign of terror”, he added. “Benazir Bhutto gave her life away, but did not bow down to any dictator and terrorist”, he asserted adding that she died teaching us how to live with courage.
In 2007, terrorists bombed reception of three million people which had gathered to receive ShaheedMohtarma Benazir Bhutto near Karsaz Flyover.
Meanwhile, the scion of Bhutto dynasty expressed that what happened in the 2018 elections is in front of everyone.
For the first time in the country’s history, the election results were not announced for three days. “Political leaders were disqualified and sent to jail”, he added. PPP Chairman emphasized that for the first time in the history of this country, the army was stationed inside a polling station and this was not done even when terrorism was on the rise.
Bilawal Bhutto hinting at the Prime Minister Imran Khan asked if someone can tell who mortgaged Pakistan to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Work on the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was stopped while the economy was sinking. In my view, these are serious crimes.
“Is this the Pakistan for which our loved ones made sacrifices?” he asked.
PPP supremo said that we have to oust this government. We will expose the entire system.
How long will we continue to bear the ‘selected’ government?
“It is time to take decisive politics against this government”, he expressed adding that giving incumbent government more time would be like playing with the integrity of the country.
