ISLAMABAD: Following the special directions of the IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police are continuing indiscriminate operations against kite selling in the federal capital.
In this regard, the Lohi Bher police team, during the search of a bus traveling from Peshawar to Gujranwala, recovered a large quantity of kites and dangerous chemical string and arrested two accused, including one Afghan national.
The police team recovered 472 spools of various types of chemical string, more than 2,700 kites, and other related items from the possession of the arrested accused. A case has been registered against the accused, and further investigation is underway.
