Two held over aerial firing, arms recovered

ISLAMABAD: The police arrested two accused involved in jubilant heavy aerial firing and recovered weapons and ammunition here on Thursday.
According to details, culprits opened heavy aerial firing during a wedding ceremony in Nai Abadi of Bhara Kahu, Islamabad, on Wednesday-Thursday night creating harassment among the citizens.
SP City Zone, Rana Abdul Wahab taking the notice of the occurrence directed SHO Bhara Kahu to detain the culprits. SHO Asjad Mehmood and his through use of latest technology and human resources traced and nabbed the culprits Akmal Waheed and Umer Muhammad besides recovering weapons and ammunition from their possession.
A case was registered against the detainees and they were being investigated. IG Islamabad and DIG Operations have lauded the SHO Bhara Kahu and his team for swift action.
