RAWALPINDI: The police arrested two fireworks dealers and recovered cache of firework items of different types here on Saturday.
On a tip-off, the Gujmandi Police Rawalpindi intercepted two dealers transporting firework items. During operation two firework dealers identified as Aamir and Amaar were held with huge quantity of firework items including 25 ‘Anaars’, 1000 ‘Soutar Golas’, 57 ‘Shooter Boxes’, two boxes ‘Chirrian’, 24 ‘Hawaai’s, 16 ‘Electric Anaars’, 28 boxes ‘Match Patakhas’ and nine ‘Moon Golas’.
The police confiscated the recovered fireworks and after registering a case against the detainees started an investigation.
