-Gold ornaments, cash recovered
ISLAMABAD: Criminal Investigation Agency; CIA of Capital Cops has nabbed two members of criminal’s gang and recovered precious stones, gold ornaments and cash from their possession.
According to details, IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan ordered crackdown against criminals including those involved in dacoity. Following these orders, DIG Operations Waqar-Ud-Din Syed has directed all zonal offices to accelerate their efforts to curb the crime in the city.
Following these directions, SP Investigation Dr.Syed Mustafa Tanveer constituted special team under supervision of DSP CIA Hakim Khan along with others. This team nabbed two members of a gang who was involved in taking away cash and valuables. They have been identified as Tariq resident of district Lodharan Shakeel and resident of Dhok Mughal Tarnol Islamabad, while police team also recovered precious stones, gold ornaments and cash from their possession.
During preliminary investigation, he confessed his involvement in incidents of theft in area of Golra police station and its surrounding along with his other accomplices. Further investigation is underway from him. DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to ensure effective policing measures in their respective areas.
