ISLAMABAD: PS Phulgran Police team arrested two wanted members of snatcher gang and recovered snatched cash, mobile phone, two stolen motorcycles and arms ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha, a police team under the supervision of SHO phulgran used human resources and latest technology and apprehended 02 members of a criminal gang. The accused were identified as Haider and Faizan. Police team also recovered two stolen motorbikes, cash, mobile phone and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
During the preliminary investigation, the accused confessed multiple incidents from various areas of Islamabad. Case has been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway.
DIG Operations further directed the police officials to intensify the ongoing crackdown against criminals involved in cars and motorbikes lifting incidents. He said that the safety of the lives and property of the citizens is our prime responsibility and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard.
