Two of gang busted, stolen vehicles recovered

ISLAMABAD: PS Koral and PS Phulgran teams have arrested two members of vehicle lifter gang involved in numerous vehicle lifting activities and recovered stolen car and motorbike from their possession.
Following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir khan, the Islamabad Capital Police had categorically started a crackdown against criminal elements in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
Following these directions, the Koral police teams used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending wanted members of the car lifter gang involved in numerous vehicle lifting activities. The accused was identified as Umer Shakeel. Police team also recovered one stolen car from his possession.


Likewise the Phulgran police teams used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a motorbike lifter gang involved in numerous bike lifting activities. The accused was identified as Tariq Masih. Police team also recovered one stolen motorbike from his possession.
Cases were registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During the preliminary investigation the accused confessed to being involved in numerous vehicle lifting activities in various areas of the city.
ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan directed all senior officials for effective crackdown against the accused involved in criminal activities and said that safety of the lives and property of the citizens is our prime responsibility and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard.
