ISLAMABAD: PS Kohsar team arrested two wanted members of snatcher gangs involved in numerous snatching activities and recovered eight snatched motorbikes, cash, mobile phone and weapons used in crime from their possession.
Following the special directions of DIG Islamabad Syed Ali Raza, the Islamabad Police has intensified the crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime in the city.
Following these directions, the Kohsar police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two wanted members of the snatcher gang.
The accused were identified as Kashif Khan and Muhammad Abdullah. The police team also recovered eight motorbikes, cash, mobile phones and weapons used in crime from their possession.
Cases were registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. Moreover, during preliminary investigation, the accused confessed to being involved in numerous snatching activities in the jurisdiction of Islamabad.measures to protect the life and property of the citizens, no criminal element will be allowed to disturb the peace of the people, he added.
