ISLAMABAD: PS Khanna team arrested two wanted members of a snatcher gang involved in numerous snatching activities and recovered snatched motorbikes, cash, mobile phone and weapons used in crime from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has intensified the crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime in the city.
Following these directions, the Khanna police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two wanted members of the snatcher gang.
The accused were identified as Haider Shafique and Ata Sultan. The police team also recovered motorbikes, cash, mobile phones and weapons used in crime from their possession.
Cases were registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During the preliminary investigation, the accused confessed to being involved in numerous snatching activities in the jurisdiction of Islamabad.
