ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police Sumbal police station team arrested two wanted members of a criminal gang involved in looting citizens and snatching activities and recovered snatched cash, weapons and dagger from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has intensified the crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime in the city.
Following these directions, the Sumbal police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two wanted members of a snatcher gang who were involved in several incidents of looting citizens at gunpoint.
The accused were identified as Adnan and Nisar. The police team also recovered snatched cash, weapons and dagger from their possession. Case was registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
DIG Islamabad Syed Ali Raza said that Islamabad Police is taking all possible measures to protect the lives and property of citizens, ensuring no criminal element disturbs the peace.
