ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police Margalla police station team have arrested two members of vehicle lifter gang involved in numerous vehicle and snatching activities and recovered car, motorbike and snatched mobile phones from their possession.
Following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir khan, the Islamabad Capital Police had categorically started a crackdown against criminal elements in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
Following these directions, the Margalla police teams used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two members of a criminal gang involved in numerous vehicle snatching activities.
The accused were identified as Badar Bakhat and Abdul Waheed. Police team also recovered one car, motorbike and 03 snatched mobile phones from their possession.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During the preliminary investigation the accused confessed to being involved in numerous criminal activities in various areas of the city.
