Two wanted bike lifters caught, seven bikes recovered

ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, special measures are being undertaken to curb criminal activities and ensure the safety and security of the federal capital. Islamabad Police have launched a large-scale crackdown to arrest individuals involved in motorcycle theft and to curb overall crime in the city.

In this regard, the Lohi Bher and Koral police station team used modern technical tools and human intelligence to arrest two members of an organized gang involved in multiple motorcycle thefts. Police teams also recovered seven stolen motorcycles from their possession. The accused have been identified as Yasir Ali and Ali Asghar.
During the initial investigation, the accused confessed to committing several thefts in Lohi Bher, Koral and surrounding areas. Cases have been registered against them and further investigation is underway.
