FAISALABAD: University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) and Xinjiang Agricultural University China inked an agreement academic cooperation in order to further deepen educational and academic ties. The MoU was duly inked by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Anas Sarwar Qureshi and Xinjiang Agricultural University China President Dr Jinag Ping’an during online meeting on the eve of 70 years diplomatic Pak-China ties and 7 years.
Dr Jinag Ping’an said that China and Pakistan are enjoying deepened and time-tested relations that are being further strengthened to get benefit from each other experiences.
He added that people of China Pakistan are like brothers who were enjoying the long lasting ties which are deeper than the ocean and higher than the mountains. Pakistan-China friendship is deeper than sea and higher than mountain He said that Confucius Institute at UAF was helping bringing both nations closer to each other. He said that the different courses relation to language, cultural and others are being offered at the CI so that help the students to pursue their further studies in China.
He said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor was a hallmark step towards the uplift and prosperity.
Dr Anas Sarwar Qureshi said that China is fair weather friend of Pakistan who stood with us in the difficult times also. He said that CPEC will provide a positive change in the social setups by providing infrastructure and equal opportunities, educational improvement and social status uplift.
He said that strengthened economical ties will help learn from each other experiences. He said that the Confucius Institute in Faisalabad was established seven years ago.
Dr. Zahir Ahmad Zahir, Vice-Chairman, Confucius Institute said that Pakistan fruits especially Pakistani mangoes with unique taste and aroma have an access to other countries of the world especially Chinese markets.
