Rawalpindi: Karachi Kings’ most experienced pace bowler, Mohammad Amir believes that the 20-year-old Umer Khan is still the most impressive find of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) until now.
Left-arm spinner Umer who was named as the best emerging player of PSL 2019 again gave a valuable performance for the Kings in their win against Islamabad United in Rawalpindi. Amir emphasized that again he was brilliant apart from other bowlers in the match.
“Last year he performed really impressive and was find of the PSL. From last year till now, he is undoubtedly the best emerging player and today his bowling was up to the mark than other bowlers on a tough wicket for the bowlers,” Amir said while talking to the media after his team defeated United by five wickets. The 27-year-old said Pindi Cricket Stadium is one of the best batting tracks for the batsman than other playing venues of Pakistan. “Pindi stadium is one of the best batting cricket than all other venues and the matches are also high-scoring that have played in this edition too. The conditions are generally favorable for the batsman, bowlers struggled and also Dale Steyn said that you have to be hundred percent accurate on these wickets,” he added.
