The US military’s Central Command (CENTCOM) said it carried out another round of strikes against Iran on Friday, marking the seventh consecutive night of operations as Washington continued its military campaign against Tehran.
In a statement posted on social media, the US Central Command said the strikes began at 3 pm Eastern Time and were aimed at further degrading Iran’s military capabilities.
CENTCOM said the operation was conducted “at the Commander in Chief’s direction”, indicating the strikes were authorised by President Donald Trump. –Agencies
