Rawalpindi: Usman Qadir’s brilliant spell of leg-spin bowling left Zimbabwe to score 129/9 in their 20 overs after winning the toss in the final T20I of the series here in Pindi Cricket Stadium.
Usman, who picked 3/23 in the second T20I, once again bamboozled Zimbabwe. He finished with figures of 4-13 in four overs. All-rounder Imad Wasim also picked two wickets by giving away 27 runs.
Zimbabwe openers provided a decent start of 26 until Imad removed Brendan Taylor in the fourth over. Craig Ervine was the next one to depart courtesy of a brilliant catch by Fakhar Zaman at point off Haris Rauf.
The visitors kept losing wickets in the middle overs. Usman removed Chibahba in the ninth over. He top-scored for the Chevrons, scoring 31 off 28. Usman dismissed debutant Milton Shumba and highly impressive Wesley Madhevere in his third over. Usman in his last over got the better of Elton Chigumbura, who played his last international match for Zimbabwe.
