Islamabad: Pakistan’s Usman Wazir has won the Asian Boxing Council’s title by defeating Indonesia’s Boida Bulldozer on Sunday.
He claimed the title by knocking out his opponent which was held at Aamir Khan Boxing Academy. The fight consisted of 10 rounds.
On the other hand, in the featherweight category, Nadir Baloch of Pakistan defeated Hamid of Afghanistan by 59-52 points after the sixth round.
In the super lightweight category, Bilal Mehsud of Pakistan knocked out Aminul Haq of Afghanistan in the second round.
Jawad Hussain of Afghanistan won in the featherweight category, while Adil Saeed defeated his compatriot Abbas Ali in the middleweight category.

“We would soon announce another boxing event in Pakistan,” said Pakistan-born Amir Khan. “We will continue to have boxing in Pakistan but it requires the full cooperation of the government and institutions,” he added.
British High-Commissioner to Pakistan Christain Turner also attended the boxing show.
