Tashkent: An online conversation was held between the Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications Shukhrat Sadikov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Uzbekistan Ms. Jiang Yan. As the Minister of ICT Sh. Sadikov noted China is one of the key and strategic partners for the Republic of Uzbekistan. Our countries have accumulated significant experience of interaction in various sectors of the economy, including in the IT sphere.
Ms. Jian Yan, in turn, also highly appreciated the fruitful partnership between the countries and the reforms carried out in Uzbekistan, including in the field of information and communication technologies. During the online meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state and action plans for promising cooperation on the development of the e-government system, information technology centers, technology parks and innovation centers, IT education and the introduction of the latest technologies. The parties noted the great potential for the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and China in the field of information technologies and expressed their readiness to mobilize all efforts in this direction. – Agencies
