ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has intensified search and combing operations in various areas of the federal capital to curb crime and crackdown on criminal elements.
The grand search and combing operations were conducted under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza, and monitored by the respective zonal SPs. During the search operations, a total of 483 individuals, 317 households, 36 shops, 43 hotels, 303 motorcycles, and 114 vehicles were checked. Additionally, 39 suspicious individuals, and 25 motorcycles were shifted to the police station for further verification. During the search operations, two criminals were also arrested.
