ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, special measures are being undertaken to curb criminal activities and to ensure the safety and security of the federal capital.
In line with these directions, search and combing operations are being carried out on a regular basis across different parts of Islamabad. In this regard, search and combing operations was conducted in the jurisdiction of Golra, Sabzi Mandi, Karachi Company and Shehzad Town police stations under the supervision of SP Rural and SP Soan zones.
During the operations, 355 individuals, 167 houses, 25 Shops, 136 motorcycles and 46 vehicles were thoroughly checked, while 26 suspicious persons were also shifted to police stations for legal proceedings.
