Voters will shatter the dreams of PDM, says AML Chief

RAWALPINDI: Awami Muslim League chief and former interior minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed says 240 million people have gained (political) consciousness now and their (rulers’) proverbial dream palaces would come crashing down.
In his message on the social networking site Twitter, Rashid said Shehbaz Sharif, during his Peshawar visit, had said corruption and bribery were rampant in Pakistan and people themselves had to fix the issues and they should not rely upon prime minister for that.
He (Shehbaz Sharif) said he was endeavouring to save the country, the AML head said, but actually he was trying to close his corruption cases and had left the people suffering owing to inflation and unemployment.
Rashid said the prime minister took oath of office on the day he was supposed to be indicted. They got the laws passed from an assembly which they would call fake and bogus.
He said Aug 12 was the incumbent government’s last day in power. –Agencies
