Wanted bike lifter caught, stolen bikes recovered

ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, special measures are being undertaken to curb criminal activities and to ensure the safety and security of the federal capital.
Islamabad Police has launched a large-scale crackdown to arrest accused involved in motorcycle theft incidents in the federal capital and to curb crime.
In this regard, the Humak police station team used modern technical and human intelligence, and arrested a key member of an organized gang involved in multiple motorcycle thefts. Police teams also recovered four stolen motorcycles from his possession. The accused has been identified as Musa. Cases have been registered against the arrested accused. During the initial investigation, the accused confessed to committing several thefts in the areas of Humak and its surroundings. Further investigation is underway.
