ISLAMABAD: PS Sihala Police team arrested a wanted member of a house burglar gang and recovered laptop, gold ornament, and other valuables items worth Rs 02 million from his possession.
Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police had started a crackdown against criminal elements in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
According to the details, the Sihala police team under the supervision of ASI Sultan Mehmood used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a criminal gang involved in numerous house burglaries activities. The accused was identified as Muhammad Azam. Police team also recovered stolen cash, laptop, gold ornaments, and other valuables worth Rs 02 million from his possession.
During the preliminary investigation, the accused confessed to being involved in numerous house burglaries activities at Sihala police station jurisdiction. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
2 members of thieves’ gang caught, valuables recovered
ISLAMABAD: PS Tarnol team have arrested two wanted members of a thief gang and recovered valuables from their possession.
Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Dr Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police had categorically started a crackdown against criminal elements in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
According to the details, a Tarnol police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two wanted members of a thief gang. The accused were identified as Faizan and Ameer Nawaz. Police team also recovered stolen valuables from their possession. Case has been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
10 busted, drugs
& arms recovered
ISLAMABAD: Cops apprehended 10 outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Aabpara police team arrested an accused namely Abdul Wassi and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession. Likewise, the Phulgran police team arrested four accused namely Waqas, Sajad Ullah, Babar and Jalal involved in drug peddling and possessing illegal weapons and recovered two 30 bore pistols, one Kalashnikov with ammunition and 540 gram hashish from their possession.
Similarly, the Shalimar police team arrested an accused namely Aleem Shah and recovered 55 gram heroin from his possession. The Shams Colony police team arrested two accused namely Muhammad Zubair and Akbar Hussain and recovered two 30 bore pistols with ammunition from their possession.
During the crackdown against proclaimed offenders and court absconders, the Islamabad capital police teams arrested two absconders and proclaimed offenders from different areas of the city. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
Two drug peddlers held, cache of drugs recovered
ISLAMABAD: PS Shahzad Town Police team arrested two former jailbird accused involved in drug peddling and recovered a cache of drugs and vehicle from their possession.
Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police had started a massive crackdown against criminal elements and drug peddlers in order to eliminate this menace from the city.
Following these directives, the Shahzad Town police teams used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two accused involved in drug peddling.
The accused were identified as Muhammad Shehzad and Tahir Raza. Police teams also recovered 3250 gram hashish from their possession.
The accused have previous criminal records also and cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is under way.
